Welcome to LuAngel Special Needs Pets, where we specialize in compassionate, tailored care for pets with physical, emotional, or behavioral needs. By using our services, you agree to the following terms. These Terms of Service apply to all services we offer.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or using our services, you (the “Client”) agree to comply with these Terms of Service. These terms may be updated at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
2. Services Offered
LuAngel proudly offers the following services, customized for pets with special or advanced needs:
Pet Grooming – Gentle, mobile, or in-house grooming for cats and dogs with behavioral or physical limitations.
Dog Training – Positive reinforcement training, including for reactive, fearful, or disabled dogs.
Boarding – Safe, enriching boarding with staff trained in special needs and senior pet care.
Pet Helper – Assistance for pet owners needing transport, medication administration, or at-home support.
Day Care – Calm, structured daytime care in a low-stress environment with behavioral observation.
Pet Coach – Guidance for pet parents to manage chronic conditions, aging, or trauma-based behaviors.
Pet Tech – Support in using technology to monitor pet health, install pet cameras, or automate care routines.
3. Appointments & Scheduling
All services require a scheduled appointment.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.
Frequent last-minute changes may limit future booking availability.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
Accepted payment methods: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Credit/Debit Card.
Prices vary based on:
Type of service
Duration and complexity
Number and condition of pets
Travel distance (if mobile)
Custom service packages and subscriptions must be paid upfront or as outlined in the service agreement.
5. Health & Behavior Disclosure
Clients must disclose all relevant medical or behavioral history of their pets before services begin.
Pets showing signs of aggression, illness, or injury may be refused service or referred for veterinary care.
LuAngel reserves the right to refuse or stop a session if a pet poses a safety risk to staff or itself.
6. Emergency Protocol
In a pet emergency during a service, we will immediately attempt to contact the client.
If unreachable, we may seek emergency veterinary care at the client’s expense, acting in the pet’s best interest.
7. Liability Waiver
While we provide professional, specialized care, LuAngel is not liable for pre-existing conditions or incidents resulting from undisclosed behavioral or medical issues.
Clients agree to release LuAngel from liability related to injury, escape, allergic reactions, or post-service health issues unless caused by gross negligence.
8. Media & Consent
Photos or videos may be taken of pets during services for use in educational or promotional material.
You may opt out at any time by sending a written request.
9. Donations & Non-Profit Projects
LuAngel is part of a non-profit initiative supporting special needs and senior pets.
Donations made through our website or in person are non-refundable and used to fund care programs.
Tax receipts are available upon request.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation prior to legal action.
